VIDEO FAQs

1 / How much time is needed for the videographer to setup before the ceremony?

Your videographer will need a minimum of thirty minutes prior to the ceremony to mic the groom, your Officiant as well as film pre-ceremony details before getting into position for the ceremony.

2 / Does my videographer need to shoot wedding prep with my bridal party? When should they start shooting?

While this can be different for each couple, many clients prefer to have the videographer film the excitement of wedding preparation with the bridal party.  This can be a great way to capture the fun leading up to the ceremony. This time of day can include coverage of the hair and makeup, getting your dress on, writing or reading letters you wrote to each other, Dad’s face when he sees you for the first time, and all of the other little details that make up the beginning of your wedding story. Your videographer will go over all of these details when putting the timeline of your day together. Ideally, schedule about an hour to capture this footage.

3 / Does the videographer need to capture open dancing? How much footage do they need?

Your important dances, such as your first dance and the dances with your parents, will be captured for your video in their entirety.  It may seem silly to film your guests dancing, but trust us, this footage helps in the telling of your wedding day story on film. We recommend 30-45 minutes of recording time to capture open dance floor footage for portions to be used in your wedding video.

4 / Is the video time continuous or can we start and stop it? Is dinner included in that time?

Yes, the package hours are continuous. Your videographer will be ready to capture any wedding day footage during your dinner that will be valuable to your produced film.

5 /How long does it take to receive the final edited video?

It takes up to 4 months for us to deliver the final edited wedding films to our clients. This includes the time needed for editing and post-production work. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to create a beautiful and timeless video that you will treasure for years to come. If you have any questions or concerns about the timeline, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.
